       The red planet, Mars  -  named after the god of war  -  has two small moons, PHOBOS and DEIMOS  -  named after two of his sons. Their mother was Aphrodite (Venus).         PHOBOS represented panic, while DEIMOS represented terror and dread.  T
       Compared to the Earth's Moon, the moons PHOBOS and DEIMOS are very small.          PHOBOS has a diameter of 14 miles, while DEIMOS measures 8 miles across.     source
